The Next Days.

The Next Days. This series takes the form of a photographic reportage, a potential documentation of the vestiges of a society that has lost its way. The shots freeze the setting, as a vague memory, both close and far away. At a time when we often hear talk of ‘the world before’ and ‘the world after’, and when complot theories and political measures clash with scientific suppositions, this series aims to propel the viewer into his or her imagination. With the absence of human presence in the urban landscape, it plunges the viewer into a universe of science fiction. This situation is not unlike the one we are experiencing now. Instead of resistance in the face of the deluge of daily news items we are subjected to, the series invites us to let go and lose ourselves in the gaps between myth and reality, and to question our civilization’s future and the fate that awaits it.

The Next Days.
