Starlink satellites fly over France. In 2020, 240 satellites sweep the globe to ensure full internet coverage: in the desert, open sea, and bare countryside. In all, SpaceX intends to launch 12.000 satellites.

Gennevilliers — Due to a “breach of confinement rules”, a man is beaten up by law enforcement. The man has a perforated eardrum and is unable to work for 10 days. He is forbidden to go to the Hauts-de-Seine region where he lives with his mother. The family appeals and files a complaint.

Kroniek, Frankrijk, 55 dagen lockdown.

Chronicle. France. 55 days of confinement. Outside our windows, barely a thing is going on. It is particularly good weather, everything is calm. And yet, in our spirits, the racket never really stopped: through our screens, day by day, with stupefied gazes, we witness the writing of a historic turning point. In combination with our confinement, the situation becomes increasingly difficult to take in. Some of us attempt to escape by cutting off our connections: it’s too anxiety-inducing. Others bear witness, as in a hallucination, to the deployment of a stupefying governmental strategy. I was one of those who remained connected: I watched the independent or mainstream media, the parliamentary channel and amateur videos. Overwhelmed by the influx of information, the effect is so overwhelming, it is difficult to stay calm.

Chronique, France.
